Mount Tai Shandong Province, China

Mount Tai, in Shandong Province, is one of China’s Five Sacred Mountains. Ascending Taishan (“shan” is mountain in Mandarin) was one of the main things another ruler did; it’s said that 72 sovereigns made the ascension. They abandoned incredible sanctuaries, engraved tablets and other social relics. Explorers with magnificent leanings will need to climb the 6,000-advance east course as that is the thing that the rulers did.
