Hanging Monastery Hunyuan, Datong, China

Roosted dubiously most of the way up a bluff nearly 75 meters (246 feet) over the ground, the Hanging Monastery is one of the most momentous sights in China. Comprising of a complex of 40 rooms connected together by mid-air halls and walkways, this exceptional religious community gives off an impression of being stuck to the side of a sheer slope. The first religious community was worked in the fifth century and has been fixed and expanded ordinarily during its long history.
